Chanel goes Anime

Chanel (the *sigh* is implied). Karl Lagerfeld and 'stylish', 'fashionable' and... well 'legendary', are all synonymous in meaning.

Upon hearing about Karl Lagerfeld's manga inspired look for Chanel's upcoming make-up line, I was just dying to see what he came up with. For those of you that don't know 'manga' is a Japanese type of art that you'd mainly see in Japanese comics or Anime. Having been someone that used to, and admittedly still does, watch anime, I was curious as to how this fashion mogul with put this into the prestigious Chanel portfolio with his ever-present finesse and skill.

Through Chanel's collaboration with Japanese cosmetic brand Shu Ueumura, "Mon Shu", the mascot of the pair's upcoming Holiday make-up line, was born.

So far, it's looking good. I, personally, am not a dedicated customer to Shu Ueumura, however I do love the eye shadow, cheek color and eye lash details. Not too shabby Mr Lagerfeld, I expect nothing less.
